Winemaker’s tasting notes: Made entirely of fruit from the Capercaillie vineyard, predominant varietal characters are complimented by tight, nutty vanillin oak, fresh peach aromas and a complex, lingering finish. All Capercaillie chardonnay is matured for about six months in new French oak to enhance the varietal characteristics.
