Bidgeebong 2005 Icon Shiraz Winemaker’s tasting notes: Each year, the wine maker selects the very best wines for the Icon Series. The 2005 Icon Shiraz wine was made from the best fruit selected from the Alambama vineyard in the Gundagai Region and the Billnugel vineyard in the Tumbarumba Region. This is outstanding value. For less than $12 a bottle, and rated 93 by Halliday, the Bidgeebong 2008 Triangle Shiraz is tough to beat.

Bidgeebong 2006 Icon Chardonnay Winemaker’s tasting notes: This Chardonnay has been selected as the best of the 2006 vintage. The wine was made using wild fermentation, some malo-lactic fermentation and aged on yeast lees in new French oak barrels for nine months. The wine shows complexity in aroma and on the palate.
