When it comes to having fun, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We do, however, take our business very seriously. We deal with more than 20 wineries and the number is fast rising as people find our about the winery2u.com concept. We treat each and every winemaker with respect and in many cases friendship. On our site under the “buy wine” click-through you’ll find each of their cellar doors presented along with tasting notes.

These are quality wines produced largely by boutique wineries. If choosing the right wine is all too much, we suggest you have a stroll through some of our popular sections which will help educate and inform, right from the mouths of the experts – foodies of the highest calibre anywhere on the internet. On each story, read “punter’s pick” where you’ll find advice about wines listed on our site. It will help you choose wine for your next occasion.

I like the idea of being updated about your site, but I don’t want to be bombarded with emails. Will you share my email address with anyone?

We share your details with nobody. Not the wineries, or any other third parties. We send newsletters out no more than once a week, and if you ever want to unsubscribe, you may do so simply by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Can I suggest a story for you to write about?

Of course. We’d love to hear from you and talk about your ideas.

I am familiar with some of the wines on your site. Can I comment on them?

Yes. Unlike most websites out there, we welcome feedback on wines which are listed with us. As far as we are concerned, this is your website. Please share your experiences with the rest of the winery2u.com community. If your comments are good, the wineries will appreciate it when you let everybody know that their hard work is paying off. If your comments are bad, please note that we will seek a right of reply from the winery. We like to be honest, but we also like to be fair. Please also be aware that your comments might not appear straight away as we moderate all comments made on our site. Finally, please keep it G-rated – or close to.

I want to be a reviewer for your “punter’s palate” section. Can I do that?

You are most welcome to submit your wittiest application to info@winery2u.com and we’ll consider it alongside any others we have. Remember, this is a popular section, so if at first you don’t succeed, feel free to try again. If you’re successful, we’ll ask you for your postal details so one of our partner wineries can send out a bottle of their finest for you to critique.

Where do you get your winelist?

Given that you are dealing direct with the wineries, they are the ones who tell us which wines are available from their cellar door. They also set their own prices which means you are always getting the best cellar door rates. We have an agreement with the wineries to tell us within 48 hours if they are out of stock, so if you notice that something on our site is out of date, let us know and we’ll adjust it immediately. Please note that your wines will be delivered straight from the cellar door from which you have bought.

I have a problem with my delivery. Who can help me?

That’s the beauty of buying your wine through winery2u.com. We can act on your behalf. If there’s a problem, we’ll do our best to help you resolve it with the wineries. We have agreements with all our partner wineries which ensure you are looked after with premium service. Most of these winemakers have been sending their wines to people for a long time. They are highly professional.

I want to buy the wine I’m reading about. Is my credit card secure?

Yes. Even the winery2u.com team won’t see your credit card details when you make a purchase. Everything is done through our secure payment gateway, which is controlled by Eway and Bankwest.

So how can I pay?

You can pay via our secure gateway with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Paypal. The choice is yours. Alternatively, contact us via email to make other arrangements.

How long will it take to deliver my wine?

Remember, you are buying your wine directly from the cellar door and times can vary. We have an agreement with each of the wineries that they will send wine to you within a maximum of 7 days. In most cases, they will despatch wine to you within a day or two of your order, sometimes even the same day. If on the off chance you have a problem with delivery, let us know and we’ll contact the winery directly on your behalf.

I am having a wedding or party. Can you negotiate bulk deals on our behalf?
